Dear Supporters, I’m going to keep this short and sweet. First I want to start this off screaming THANK YOU for supporting The Awkward Black Gay Blog. You guys are really a great group of people. These last four months turned out extremely better than a I planned. I would also like to thank the wonderful writers of the site, Stacey, Farren, Devan, Bradleigh, Andrew, and Christian. Without them I don’t know where the site would be. I want to thank them for all the stories and ideas they brought to the site. They have truly made the Awkward Black Gay Blog a wonderful site. Unfortunately, due to time constraints I will be shutting the site down for a couple months. Between school and work, it has become slightly difficult to manage the site to my standards. Awkward Black Gay is more than just a blog, it is a brand and I want to bring the supporters the greatest product forward. Within the next couple months I will be reconstructing the site, to better serve you, as well as working on a YouTube Channel and other miscellaneous projects. Make sure you be on the look out. Again, I want to thank ALL the supporters for any and everything, even if you just visited the site just once. Revered for her groundbreaking sermon “No More Sheets”, Gospel performer and televangelist Juanita Bynum got some silver bracelets and spent the night in the Lew Sterrett Justice Center after authorities arrested her on a warrant for her failure to appear in a Dallas civil proceeding against her. According to public records, the Georgia woman was booked in at the jail around 10:30 PM, Thursday. Released after she appeared in a Dallas courtroom earlier on friday, she answered questions regarding the case, which includes a 2007 judgment ordering her to pay $140,000 to ALW Entertainment.
